Wisconsin elopements and intimate weddings

Brambleberry is the ideal alternative to a courthouse wedding, providing warmth and charm a government office can’t. Bring your bride or groom and your Wisconsin marriage license application (purchased at least six days in advance) and we’ll take care of the rest.

Private ceremonies are held in our library. Weather permitting, your ceremony may be held outside in the wedding garden or for a small upgrade you may pick another location on the property.

Your ceremony may be performed by the pastor, judge or legal officiant of your choice. Brambleberry has two legal officiants available.

Elopement cost: $150 — allow 15 to 20 minutes. Up to eight guests. Ceremony takes place in the library or the wine garden. Officiant provided. We will file the marriage license at the Jackson County Courthouse.

Elopement/small wedding venue rental (3 hours): $350. For groups of up to 10 (including the couple) that wish to host a meal following the ceremony. The rooms available are the library, dining room and ground floor guest room with restroom. This guest room is yours to use before the ceremony for dressing and last minute preparations. Includes officiant.

We work with a variety of vendors and will assist you in planning your day down to the smallest detail. Brambleberry offers a variety of meal options, such as appetizer trays, wedding brunch, high tea and dinner, priced according to menu. You may also bring in a licensed caterer. Excellent lodging is available at the inn. Breakfast/brunch is included with an overnight stay at the inn.

Elopements and small weddings for groups of 10 (including the wedding couple) are available year-round, seven days a week during off season (late October through mid-April). During high season (late April through mid-October) elopements are not offered on Saturdays unless we have openings less than 60 days out. High season weekends are designated for larger weddings at the Grand Pavilion.

The following dates are available for small weddings or elopements on Saturdays:

May 26, June 2, June 9, June 16, June 23, June 30 and July 4,7, 14 and 21 are available.
