Rates are non-negotiable.
This facility is weapon-free. No weapons are allowed — even with conceal carry permit.
We are a smoke-free inn. Smoking is permitted only at the campfire site.
No dogs or other pets allowed.
No children allowed under 12 years except under whole house rentals.
Breakfast is complimentary. Guests who leave before breakfast will not receive a discount on their room rate.
Breakfast is served at 9 a.m. unless arrangements are made in advance. In-room breakfast is available for an additional charge of $10. We’ll bring breakfast to your door at 9 a.m. This fee is waived for our brides and grooms.
Candles are not permitted in guest rooms.
Per state law, guests are not allowed access to our commercial kitchen.
Brambleberry B&B or its owners are not responsible for any accidents or injuries that occur on the property. Guests are not allowed to pet or touch the cattle or enter any farm buildings unaccompanied.
Check-in time is 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Please check-in at the winery if you arrive before 7 p.m. After 7 p.m. please ring the B&B doorbell.
In consideration of other guests, we encourage quiet time between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. Please keep volume on TVs and CD players low. It is suggested you not use the whirlpool motors during these hours. Quiet time is waived on whole-house rentals.
Check-out by 11 a.m. unless other arrangements are made. If you’ve made a reservation with your credit card, please bring it with you as we must scan your card at check-out time. Guests who neglect to have their card scan are subject to a possible $10 extra charge to cover the higher processing fees.
Your reservation is guaranteed only after we have received a credit card number or a check for one-half the price of your stay. We will process one-half of the price of your stay 14 days before you arrive. If you are redeeming a gift certificate, please advise us. We only accept Brambleberry certificates that we have issued. We are not responsible for lost certificates.
We accept cash, checks, Mastercard or VISA. 5.5% state sales tax will be added.
(March through September we spend much of our time working outdoors away from the phone, so please leave a message and we will call you back.)
Reservation requests of less than 48 hours must be made by telephone.
Mature, well-behaved young adults aged 12 and older are welcome. We are a romantic destination with an adult atmosphere. Thank you for understanding that many of our guests come here for time alone together. They definitely don’t want to spend their romantic holiday with someone else’s children.
Please allow us adequate time to plan ahead if you have special dietary needs. Gluten free is no problem! We will adapt our menus as necessary to accommodate vegetarians, medical conditions, food allergies or religious reasons.
Brambleberry Bed and Breakfast is legally licensed and inspected by the Wisconsin/Jackson County Department of Health. (Not all lodging facilities in our area are.)
Brambleberry Winery closes at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 5 p.m. Sunday — per federal law B&B guests cannot stay in the winery past closing time. The kitchen closes at 6:30 p.m.
Only overnight guests are allowed in the B&B. Please do not bring friends or relatives for tours.
Murder mysteries are offered during the off-season only. Please see our murder mystery page for dates.
Before reserving a room with us, please be certain of your plans. Your reservation is your commitment to us that you will be showing up for the scheduled date.
Our commitment to you is that your room will be waiting for you upon arrival. Because we are a small inn with very limited availability, cancellations of under 15 days affect us dramatically.
We understand that unscheduled emergencies can occur, but we require that our guests bear their financial share of responsibility for their booking.
Because we have had problems with people not showing up for reservations or cancelling on short notice, we have had to implement a change in our payment policy.
Your credit card will be charged for the first night stay as a deposit 14 days before your stay. All cancellations must be 15 days before your stay. If your credit card is rejected, you will be contacted for payment.
Any cancellation or changes to a reservation must be made by phone so as to avoid misunderstandings. We do not accept e-mail cancellations because they can get filtered in e-mail or lost.
Cancellations of less than 14 days will be charged the FULL amount of the stay if we are unable to re-book the room.
Groups that rent three or more rooms together must cancel more than 30 days before the stay or forfeit the full amount for any rooms that are not re-booked.
Cancellations for Oktoberfest and Cranfest weekend must be made one month prior or the guest will be charged the full amount of the stay. Too many people have abused our cancellation policy for this, our busiest weekend of the year, so it is necessary to implement this policy.
Guests cannot reserve two separate weekends with the intention of canceling one.
We do not control the weather. In the event of extreme weather, such as an ice storm or blizzard, the guest will still be charged for the stay and we will issue a gift certificate that must be used before the end of August.
2013 Wisconsin Act 269 LIABILITY NOTICE: A person who observes or participates in an agricultural tourism activity on this property assumes the risks inherent in the agricultural tourism activity.
